Rising Hope's History and Mission

Founded in 2018, Rising Hope Bakery employs women who have graduated from Zaman’s workforce development program and are working to transition from instability to stability to sustainability.

Rising Hope Bakery is a safe space that pays BOOST culinary arts graduates livable wages while allowing them to comfortably adjust to the working culture and gain on-the-job experience in an industrial bakery setting designed to help them eventually gain outside employment.

Purchases from Rising Hope Bakery help create more employment opportunities for women who are lifting their families out of poverty.
