Zaman International Celebrates 30 Years of Creating Hope for Humanity

2026 marks 30 years of Zaman’s service and creating Hope for Humanity. What began in 1996 as a small grassroots group of dedicated volunteers has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit organization serving women, children, and families in need, both locally and abroad.

With more than 70 employees today, Zaman has evolved into a holistic source of support and empowerment, operating out of the Hope for Humanity Center. Since becoming an official nonprofit organization in 2004, Zaman has expanded its reach and impact, responding to both community needs and humanitarian crises with compassion, innovation, and resilience.

Throughout its 30-year history, Zaman has reached over 5 million women, children, and individuals in need, providing critical resources that extend far beyond immediate relief. Its programs address basic needs while also offering education, workforce development, vocational training, employment opportunities, and supplemental healthcare — helping individuals build stability, independence, and pathways to long-term success.

This transformative work would not be possible without the incredible Zamanitarians who make the mission a reality every day. Donors, community partners, volunteers, and staff have been the heart of Zaman’s journey, fueling three decades of impact and hope.
